Elaboration and aging
Arehucas Carta Oro is considered the best Spanish rum, especially in its white (Carta Blanca) and golden (Carta Oro) variants, leading the sales market in the Canary Islands for over 50 years. It is located on the island of Gran Canaria, in the municipality of Arucas, from which it takes its name.
All the production processes are carried out in the distillery itself, from the collection of sugar to bottling.
Arehucas has more than 4,000 oak barrels in its cellar where its rums, including Arehucas, age.
