Zacapa Instead of molasses, Zacapa uses 'virgin honey', obtained from the first pressing of sugar cane, and subjects it to an aging process known as solera, where it is stored in barrels previously used to age American whiskeys, sherry wines, Pedro Ximénez and cognac.

On the nose, it reveals a harmonious combination of mature oak wood, toasted caramel, toasted nuts, marzipan and orange peel. In the mouth, it unfolds like a smooth and sweet rum with long notes of chocolate, black cherries and intense aromas of dried fruits such as raisins, dates and plums.
