This Salanques is a red wine certified with D.O. Priorat. Salanques is a blend of three different varieties: 65% Grenache, 25% Carignan and 10% Syrah. The grapes used to make this wine come from vineyards planted at an altitude of between 350 and 500 meters above sea level. The grapes were harvested by hand. Fermentation was then carried out at a controlled temperature using the submerged cap system. Finally, the wine was aged for 14 months in brand new and second year barrels of extra fine grain French oak, and we recommend pairing this incredible red wine with feathered game, small game, stews, stews, roasts or grilled lamb.
