Their pigs spend the first stage of their lives on their farm, feeding on natural cereals made in their facilities until they reach a weight of between 40 and 50kg, when they access the pastures.

There, they enjoy an exquisite diet composed of this selection of cereals in addition to grasses, tubers, roots, and acorns, reaching 90/100kg in early October (when the montanera begins), at which time the acorns fall and they feed exclusively on them until they reach an approximate weight of 180kg in their adult stage. This is essential to maintain the Iberian breed and be able to label it as acorn-fed Iberian.

When sliced, it has a marbled appearance with veins of infiltrated fat, with soft golden tones and a red color that invites you to taste it.

At the end of its curing process, it passes through a bell where oak charcoal burns very slowly, giving it a persistent, enveloping, and unmistakable bouquet.
