First sweet wine from Clos Figueras made from 100% Grenache noir variety of late harvest with almost overripe grapes. The harvest is done manually with a double selection of the grapes both in the vineyard and in the winery. The fermentation is done in cold, expressly stopping before it finishes to be able to obtain the sugar. Limited production of 1092 bottles.

Winery: Own Vineyards, Clos Figueras, Gratallops (Tarragona), manual harvest. D.O.C. Priorat Year: 2021 Alcohol content: 16% Variety: 100% Garnacha Late harvest, almost raisined grapes.

Tasting notes: Red wine with strawberry red color, clean, and with a good tear formation. Aromas of floral extract, such as rose or violet, and notes of red currant and red fruit. The entry on the palate is fresh, elegant, and velvety. It has a smooth and long journey, with bursts of red fruit, a pleasant and wide finish.

Serving temperature: 6-8ºC

Production: The harvest is manual using 15 kg boxes. Once in the winery, a second selection of the grapes is made.

Fermentation at low temperatures, the alcoholic fermentation is stopped with 1% Vol. of Alcohol expressly before it finishes in order to preserve sugar. Finally, around 80g/l of residual sugar remains.

Pairing: Blue cheeses, chocolates.
