TEQUILA OCHO This tequila is taken from the eighth sample made by Camarenas for Tomas Estes. Agaves take an average of eight years to mature before they can be harvested. Eight kilos of agave are needed to make one liter of Tequila Eight.

The period of time it takes from the time the agave arrives at the distillery until the Tequila Ocho Blanco is finished is eight days. Carlos Camarena has eight brothers and sisters. The Camarena are in their eighth decade as tequila producers.
