TASTING NOTES:
- Appearance: It has a cherry red color with crimson shades. It is agile, bright, and leaves some colored tones in the glass.
- Nose: Intense, fine, and very fresh. Dominance of red fruits, raspberry, and cherry. The spicy notes of licorice and nutmeg complete this fun aromatic profile.
- Palate: Round palate with predominance of fruity freshness over unctuousness and tannic structure. It is a wine with great appeal.
APPELLATION: Ribera del Duero
WINERY: Bodegas de Figuero, located in the Castilla y León region.
GRAPES: Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Garnacha Tinta Caribeña.
AGING: 4 months in French oak barrels and ready to be stored for two years under appropriate storage conditions.
WINEMAKING: Hand harvest in small quantities, using 12-kilo baskets each. Initial maceration at a temperature of 12°C for 3 days. The wine undergoes spontaneous fermentation, followed by a second maceration for a period of 15 days. Finally, it is clarified with egg white before being bottled and marketed.
WINE PAIRING: It is highly recommended to accompany all types of rice dishes, especially those prepared in Mediterranean cuisine. It also easily pairs with all types of meats, grilled red meats, white meats, and poultry. It goes well with pasta and Italian cuisine, as well as some vegetarian preparations that include mushrooms.
