Torcicoda Tormaresca 2020

Torcicoda Tormaresca is a red wine made from Primitivo grapes in the Salento IGT region (Italy) by the Marchesi Antinori winery.

The red wine, Salento Primitivo IGT "Torcicoda" from Tormaresca, was aged in steel tanks and continued to age for about 10 months in French oak barrels. Further ageing in bottle for no less than 8 months per year results in a wine of rare harmony which, if properly stored, will satisfy even years after the vintage.

Torcicoda Tormaresca Tasting Notes

Intense ruby red in colour, with aromas of cherry, strawberry and liquorice and after a few seconds notes of toast and sweet spices.

Rich on the palate, with good body and lively tannins. It finishes with good persistence on the fruit.
