Making: The Mas del Xes vineyard, planted on the famous Priorat llicorella soil, is located near the village of Poboleda 30 km from the Mediterranean Sea. This vineyard experiences an extreme change in climate between day and night. The days are hot and arid followed by cool temperatures at night due to its location in relation to the sea and an elevation of between 400 and 500 meters. Mas del Xes Grenache grapes are the warmth of flowers and the coolness of the breeze at the same time. The extreme weather conditions of 2017 have resulted in a vintage that expresses the classic terroir of Priorat without impurities.
It has a very good balance between the freshness of the flowers and the freshness of the breeze at the same time
It has a 60% barrel fermentation, 40% stainless steel, and an 18-month aging in 80% new 600l French oak.
