The Aris Young White Wine is a pale yellow white wine with slightly golden hues. It is possibly the most original and surprising white wine; it is a white wine fermented in barrel on its fine lees, made from Torrontés grapes from old vines. It is a curious and original wine, perfect for discovering the Designation of Origin and this uncommon variety.
It comes from Torrontés vineyards that are about 40 years old, located in the Mondejar Designation of Origin. The soils are reddish, sedimentary loam-clay with gravel. It corresponds to undulating soil, with gentle slopes, deep and sandy loam texture, good accessibility and aeration, and low organic matter content. The climate in the area is Mediterranean, with temperate summers and cold winters. With proper ripening, it favors the grape for better quality.
Its production method is Terpene, aromatic maceration, gentle bleeding, and fermentation in new American oak barrels. Post-fermentation aging on its fine lees occurs during the batonnage process.
